Although you might be missing out on some fun additions found in the GBA and GBC releases you'll ultimately be better off sticking to the original SNES release for it's graphical fidelity and audio quality. That being said, both ports are actually quite impressive and hold up well if you'd like to take your Donkey Kong Country experience even further.
