The Definitive Version of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the HD Collection from 2011. This version offers a better framerate at 60 FPS, as opposed to the original release at 30 FPS. Since you will most likely appreciate the ability to have a wider view of your surroundings in this game, another noteworthy updated feature is the aspect ratio, which was increased to 16:9, from the original version’s 4:3 presentation. While this release does lack some features such as multiplayer mode and the Snake vs. Monkey minigame, it features some content from the Subsistence release such as a third-person camera, which certainly enhances the overall gameplay experience.
