THE DEFINITIVE VERSION™ OF
TACTICS OGRE
Thank you Japan for keeping Tactics Ogre afloat. With your help maybe we'll even get another entry. This game is possibly overshadowed in the west due to the similarly style Final Fantasy Tactics, but Tactics Ogre stands on its own two feet as a darker more nuanced entry in the tactics genre.

This is the first time I've honestly been completely stumped. There are fundamental changes to each version that could make it a completely different game if you wrapped it in a different shell. To make the decision it came down to three factors, the expanded story, the balanced job system, and the additional QoL adjustments. Unfortunately, there isn't a perfect version, and I'm not sure we'll ever get one, but If you're going to give Tactics Ogre a try once and for all the Definitive Version is the 2022 Reborn release.
Now if you've read this far, you might want to know that there are actually two more ways to play so check back soon.
